Whether you come as an individual, as an informal group or with a retreat, the lodge at La Confluencia is the perfect place to use as a home base from which you can explore the stunning Rio Azul Protected Natural Area of Patagonia.
The main lodge sleeps up to 14 people and is an excellent choice when visiting as a group or individually. There are 6 rooms (a mix of double & twins) which share beautiful modern spa-style bath facilities, as well as one suite with a private bath.

The Mountain Lodge Difference
La Confluencia is not a traditional hotel — it is a unique lodge, and the only one of its kind in this area. Comfortable, simple and well-appointed, the concept of the lodge was originally inspired by the refugios (trekking huts) in the area – with lots of shared open spaces, it’s a place to eat and sleep, unwind after a day in the outdoors, have a great meal, and relax around the fireplace for a great chat with fellow travellers.
Relax & Rejuvenate
A short footpath leads from the main lodge to a large deck and outdoor relaxation area with a wood-fired log sauna, cedar hot tubs, and an incredible view of the Azul River gorge some 200 feet below. Or just hang out in the lodge in front of the fireplace with a great book. We have the perfect space for you to unwind after a day outdoors before a fun evening of dinner and conversation.
Our Surroundings
Just outside the lodge a wooden boardwalk and long staircase lead down to a small private beach next to a deep swimming hole on the Rio Azul. This is also the put-in for kayak and rafting excursions. The path that leads to our network of stunning hiking trails is steps away.
